God is . . . Color?

What if we could move beyond our physical senses and our soul could detect the wavelengths of color? Would we experience color in a new way?

One afternoon I went to my room to pray. I hadn’t expected my walls to be covered with little rainbows, refracted from the chandelier of crystals hanging near the window. Unbeknownst to me, each afternoon the sun was shining through those prisms, refracting rainbows every day. Yet I had been unaware.

What if God has been sending his warmth in gem-tones of light, every afternoon

. . . in every season

. . . but we were unaware?

What if God has been expressing his character to us through color? The blue of His glory, the gold of His goodness, the green of new life, the white of His holiness, the red of His sacrifice, and the purple of His kingship?

As you read these blogs, watch for the invitations that come to you through color.

His Color speaks.
